We believe that God has uniquely placed us to reach the resort community of Pleasure Island with the gospel.   Our Mission is …. “to evangelize residents and vacationers in Kure Beach,  making disciples of Jesus Christ.” Kure beach first Baptist Along with the Wilmington Area Resort  Ministry (W.A.R.M.) of the Wilmington Baptist Association have been  active in Summer Resort Ministry for more than twenty years. We are seeking Youth Groups to join us in this exciting ministry during the summer of 2008. Your group will work alongside our church and our missionaries to evangelize to residents and  vacationers to our island.

Your mornings will consist of Day Camps in which your group will share with children through Bible lessons, crafts,   and games. In the afternoon groups will engage in various evangelism  projects and ministries like handing out bottled water or lemonade, beach games such as Frisbee and volleyball, and sharing one on one.

Evenings (Wed. thru Sunday) groups will conduct programs designed for family entertainment. Programs might Include….puppets, music, drama, singing,  interpretive dance, and/or skits or games that involve audience interaction. Our summer resort ministry offers youth groups not  only the opportunity to minister to people of all ages and  walks of life but a way to grow closer together, to mature in their Faith. and catch the vision of what God can and wants to do through them.
